Some of these features include a smooth start and stop system to avoid any sudden jolts, a battery backup system so in the event of a powercut the stairlift will continue to run for a few runs, safety sensors in case the stairlift encounters any obstacles during its journey and a safety belt to keep you secure for the full ride.
HomeGlide extras: At South Coast Stairlifts we offer a range of extras for the HomeGlide Outdoor stairlift. One of these is a powered linked footrest, meaning when you unfold the chair, the footrest automatically unfolds, eliminating the need for you to bend down and unfold it yourself. These extras also include a keylock to prevent unauthorised use of your staircase, a powered swivel to make it easier to safely get in and out of our stairlift and seat height adjustment for a more tailored fit.
